Ranked #4 of 15 Contains a prostaglandin analogue

REALASH Eyelash Enhancer

A long-standing Polish formula with a following in the UK, and the clearest label in the whole ranking — REALASH prints both INCI names for its analogue on the same line, which is more transparency than any of its competitors offer.

What is in it

Biotinoyl tripeptide-1 sits fifth, ahead of most of the botanicals, with hydrolysed silk and sodium hyaluronate for conditioning. Ninth on the list is 'Dechloro Dihydroxy Difluoro Ethylcloprostenolamide (Ethyl Tafluprostamide)' — the brand names the compound twice so there is no ambiguity about what it is. It is one of the three the SCCS flagged.

Full ingredient list

Aqua, Propanediol, Panthenol, Glycerin, Biotinoyl Tripeptide-1, Acorus Calamus Root Extract, Acrylates/C10-30 Alkyl Acrylate Crosspolymer, Calendula Officinalis Flower Extract, Dechloro Dihydroxy Difluoro Ethylcloprostenolamide (Ethyl Tafluprostamide), Disodium EDTA, Ethylhexylglycerin, Equisetum Arvense Leaf Extract, Hydrolyzed Silk, Linum Usitatissimum Seed Extract, Phenoxyethanol, Propylene Glycol, Serenoa Serrulata Fruit Extract, Sodium Hyaluronate, Sodium Hydroxide.

How it performed

Consistent. Change from week six for most of the panel, with a slightly more natural-looking result than the faster analogue serums — density first, length later. It performs well on brows, which not every lash serum does. No irritation was reported across the trial.

Who it is for

Anyone who wants an analogue serum and values a manufacturer that labels clearly. Good if you want to treat brows at the same time. The usual exclusions apply: glaucoma, prescribed eye drops, pregnancy, breastfeeding.

The verdict

Ranked #4 of 15

The most honestly labelled analogue serum we tested. That does not make the analogue safer, but it does mean you can make an informed choice — which is more than the category norm.

Safety note

This product contains DDDE / Ethyl Tafluprostamide. Prostaglandin analogues are associated with darkening of the eyelid skin, loss of fat around the eye socket and, rarely, permanent change to iris colour. Do not start it if you have glaucoma or ocular hypertension, or use prescribed eye drops, without speaking to a clinician. Patch-test first, photograph your eyes for a baseline, and stop if you notice redness, swelling, darkening or any change to your vision.

We review products, we are not clinicians, and this is not medical advice. Ingredient information was taken from the manufacturer's published INCI list on 13 August 2026 — formulas change and brands sell variants under similar names, so check the pack you are holding. If this page is out of date, email us and we will correct it.
